Technical Details

MEA is the core component of fuel cells or electrolyzers, consisting of a proton exchange membrane (typically perfluorosulfonic acid, such as Nafion) and catalyst layers on both sides. In fuel cell applications, the anode catalyst (typically platinum) promotes hydrogen oxidation, while the cathode catalyst promotes oxygen reduction. In electrolysis applications, this process is reversed.

Our MEA designs can be customized for different application requirements, including a 3-layer basic structure (anode catalyst layer/membrane/cathode catalyst layer), or adding gas diffusion layers (GDL) to form 5-layer or 7-layer structures to optimize gas transport, water management, and electronic conductivity.

Our MEA products are suitable for hydrogen fuel cells, PEM water electrolysis, chloralkali electrolysis, and other industrial electrochemical processes, featuring high efficiency, long life, and high stability.
